Portfolio - Cabinets & Furniture
For Most Cabinet repaints we don't paint the inside of the boxes, unless you request it. Which means for you everything inside your cabinets does not need to be removed. We do paint both sides of your cabinet doors. Because of that we remove all your cabinet doors, remove all the hardware is removed. The cabinet doors and boxes are cleaned and deglossed. We plastic off the room and the inside of the cabinet boxes and drawers. Then the fun part of priming depending on the primer that we need to use typically we let it cure for 12-24 hrs. Once the primer has cured its time for your updated color!! The final step is hardware is put back on and the cabinet doors are rehung and you get to enjoy a fresh new kitchen.
How long does this prossess take?
There are a few factors that effect the answer to that question.
1- the size of your project.
2- the condition the cabinets are currently in.
3- the weather. If its cold, humid or raining that can effect the curing time.
On average a kitchen will take about 4 days
What if my cabinets previously had a bad paint job?
